Summary:
Forming a successful dentist/technician team is a dream for many providers. In-house lab integration provides the optimal opportunity to collaborate and work together effectively but is full of challenges and compromise. The in-house lab faces many operaional challenges and limitations, but also many opportunities to achieve quality and consistency As a team, this requires experience, compromise, patience, effective communication, calibration, and an optimal workflow. Three years ago, Paulo Battistella and Matt Nejad made this transition. This lecture will review their experience, as well as the equipment, technology, and processes utilized to achieve consistent and predictable quality results.
